When using flush port or flushing my 225 on muffs, there a trickle stream of water running down from bottom of port side lower engine cover. Pee stream is very strong and water does exit prop. Normal or an issue?

Must have a loose hose or clamp loose under cowling, all the water should come out pee hose and exhaust.

That would be best case scenario. Mechanic thinks it could be a bad gasket in exhaust manifold but if not, older Hondas are know to corrode from inside out creating a hole in the block. Will not know until mechanic goes back to replace the gasket and test. If it is a hole, I will not repower ore replace short block given age of engine. Have read that many folks have had great success in patching the hole with something like JB Weld or similar product.

JB Weld does work very well, hopefully it' just a gasket or hose.
