Default Will running a Honda 50 over-propped cause any problems?

Will running a Honda BF50D over-propped cause any problems? Honda manual calls for max rpm to be 5500-6000. Will running a prop that maxed out at 5400 rpm cause any problems with the engine? I am still experimenting with props on new BF50 of 16' IPB microskiff. Original Powertech SS 14p maxed at 5400 and 32mph but still had a great hole shot. I decided to try the SS 13p of same model powertech which then over-reved the 6000 max. Then had the 13p cupped which dropped the rpm to max 5900 and speed of 28mph. So, unless it will cause engine problems I will likely go back to the 14p since the performance on top end was better and it had a great hole shot. The BF50 seems to handle the load quite well. Any thoughts? I am also thinking of trying a different model 13p prop with a bit larger diameter?
