I was wondering if anyone could tell me the year
my Honda B100S-1600436 was made. I called a couple of dealerships and they could not help me. I sure would be greatful if someone could tell me or point me in the right direction so I could find out.

Hmm. I guess this is a 8 HP at the prop then (I have been reading some of the other posts on this engine). That's o.k., I guess, as it will be pushing an 11 ft fiberglass sailboat that has been converted to a skiff type vessel.




Am I going to die doing this? Haha. But really, does one know if this is appropriate size motor for this vessel? Also, How do you know what year based on the VIN #, is there a database?
