50hp, don't know the year, but think it's a 1995 or newer. Frame serial number is BAYS-6211454 which doesn't see to register when I search for Honda parts, specifically a tune up kit. Any ideas?

I don't see anything on on a "BAYS" serial number, recheck the serial number, the one on motor transom bracket.

Please see my recent posting "BF40A with odd numbering" on this subject. Where did your motor originate? Maybe we can backtrack together to find answer to these phantom motors.. I have triple checked the stamping on my stern bracket identification plate to be sure that I am capturing the correct number.

I just bought a 1975 boat that came with a honda100 10hp 4 stroke outboard. It even came with the owners manual with a copyright 1977 date. But no model year for the engine. The serial number on the motor is B100-1016449. Can any one tell me the year? I need to order some carburetor parts.
