Hello everyone, new to the forum and would like to know where on my bf150 to put the fitting for the water pressure gauge? I saw it somewhere on the internet a while back but since I purchased the gauge I can't find it. The instructions that came with the Honda gauge (37353-ZW5-000ZB) say I have to drill and tap a hole but I know there's an easier way. Thanks in advance, and a picture would be nice also.

Hello: I tried to get info on hooking up a water pressure gauge for my Honda 50 hp. but got no help. I took off the motor hood on my 50 hp. and disconnected the pisser-water pump indicator line from the fitting, spliced in a T fitting on it and hooked the water pump gauge line on the tee and replaced the pisser-water pump indicator line back on the fitting , ran the motor in a test tank and the gauge worked perfectly. I didn't notice any difference in the water stream wether the gauge was hooked up or not hooked up. I did buy some extra water line so everything wasn't too tight. I just made sure nothing could touch anything hot. Right or wrong I don't know but I'm happy with it. It was very easy and fast. Hope this helps you. O - R
