We have removed the trim & tilt unit from the engine. 2001 90 hp. We have replaced the motor, added fresh oil and doing the bench test in the vise. Apply
12 volts . Motor sounds OK but no movement on the hyd. rams. Switch the pos. and neg wire. Still no movement. What is the next step in finding the problem. Thanks
Will need to bleed air out of system but in vise it will be hard to do, top off unit with power trim fluid, open the manual release screw and push trim cylinder rams down and then back to full up position and recheck fluid.
