Default Which service manual is the best?

While working on cars and trucks I have found that the factory service manuals were better than the aftermarket manuals.

Is this true for Honda engines as well?

I'm in need of a service manual for my late 1970's B100/BF100 and have located a factory service manual. Should I get this or would I be better of with something else?

Thanks
Ken

The OEM manual is pretty scant on "How To" type information but is very complete with lots of pictures, and covers the BF100/BF75 only. If you're at all mechanically inclined I'd say you'd be much better off with it.

The aftermarket manuals that I've seen are very cluttered. They cover multiple engines in the same sections (clymers is 7.5hp-130hp I think) which doesn't help when you're looking for specific information.
