What is the best aluminum prop to use on my 2007 BF40AKO on my 1988 13 foot Boston Whaler? The boat is 300 miles away so I don't have info on original prop. The boat is used for family rides around the lake and tubing.
Is there a strong argument to switch to Stainless Steel?
Also, are there any other parts in the propeller assembly (like the thrust washer) that typically require replacement? This motor is used in fresh water.
