Poor service from boats.net
I ordered a propeller for my 9.9 HP Honda outboard from boats.net on 7/7, second day air shipping. The site couldn't tell me what shipping would cost. On 7/8 I received a separate invoice for shipping and had to go back online and pay the invoice. Afterwards I received an email saying the part would ship 7/11; a weekend lost. On 7/11 I received an email saying the part would ship 7/13. On 7/14 I received an email saying the part would ship 7/14; no tracking information was included. This will get the part to me next Monday, July 18. This weekend I was supposed to take some family visitors from out of town on the boat. Ain't gonna happen.
I'm very unhappy with boats.net. This is my first experience with them. Is it unusual or typical? I'd like to know to help me decide if I should do business with them again.
