Hello, I just bought a sailboat with a 7.5 Honda. I see that there is water inside the case and I found out the following part # 13 on the link below is split. Its a water hose for the "pee hole". Anyway the part is listed as obsolete. It looks like a preformed hose, so I am not sure if I can get a way with a hose that I simply make work. I have not experience with outboards. I do know engines both 2 cycle and 4 (chain saw type), diesel and gas inboards. This engine has other problems but I need to get the water/cooling running first before I tackle the run issues. Thanks for any tips finding this part or a suitable replacement.

Might be able to use a longer hose and route it so it has long bend instead of sharp bend to keep it from kinking.

Yes, it is a pre-formed hose, and also changes diameter from where it connects at the intake manifold from smaller to larger diameter / wall thickness so it will fit tightly in the housing. I have a couple used ones but they are probably no better than yours. Try the suggestion above.
