Default Lower Unit On - How to Find Neutral...

Greetings,

Just Cchanged my water pump, and was able to get my lower unit back on but the drive shaft is in gear (prop won't turn). I obviously moved my shifter shaft in the process.

Can anyone tell me what is the trick to find neutral?
I expect to have to remove the Lower unit and adjust something. Just not sure what and how.

Thanks,

Never mind...

I figured it out. Flat part of shift shaft spline must face forward. Mine was inserted at 10 or 2 o'clock.
