Default Honda BF25 leak

hello,
I have posted in another forum as well but havent recieved any replies. I have had my motor sitting up for sometime in the shed. I was taking it out today and while I wheeled it around to the boat, it fell off the stand. I now have a very small gap where the arrow is pointing in the picture. When i hook up the water hose and run the motor it shoots out through this gap and also a little out of the exhaust port. The gap is were the engine case meets the extension case. I need to know if this will hurt the motor running the motor like this. The motor runs and idles perfect still, just need to know if its safe to run with this. Also, is there a gasket in there that i may need to replace? I tried looking thru the microfiche with no results. Please help!
Thank you.
Jc

Take the engine cowling and look for water leaks around engine.

There is a leak coming out from the Inside bottom part of the engine where it meets the cowling. Where should I go from here? Are there gaskets to be replaced

Don't know exactly where you see the leak but probably is a bad gasket.

its been awhile since i have looked at the motor. i took picture of what appears to be the gasket that is leaking. the gasket seems to be made of a thin metal???
