i have a 2002 225hp and would like to replace the exhaust pipes, i saw some on ebay from a 2006 . Would they fit ? they appear to be different part #'s ?Also if i'm reading the parts diagram correct , would it cost about $120 for the pipes new.thanks mike

There is an exhaust pipe kit that includes an oil pan gasket that is a new design to help prevent water from going up the exhaust and causing the O2 sensor to fail.

Those that you saw probably would fit, but they may not be the new design. The part number for the kit is 04101-ZY3-010. It can probably be ordered on this site. It retails for about $150.

thanks for the info , i don't think i'll take my chances on the 06's pipes. i'll just get the new ones. I looked up that part # and it didn't come back on file. when i look at the schematics i come up with part #04101-ZY3-000. it seems like the right one retail is $150ish and selling price of $120. only off by one digit,might be the old # or something.

The number you have supercedes to the one I indicated. It seems weird, but one exhaust pipe costs more than the kit that has both of them and the oil pan gasket.
