Default Honda 90 will only run with choke on.

I have a 2003 Honda 90 hp that sat for all of last year. I do not believe the fuel was drained before at the end of 2008. Now it will start with the choke all the way one and run at very low RPMs for a couple of minutes. I am sensing that is a carburator problems- Any suggestions?

Default Carb

You should take the carb apart and clean it very well. If it had been running on ethanol gas; needle valve is bad, float is bad, fuel pump is bad. Soak it in gas if you need to, or just spray every little hole with carb cleaner. I replaced everything in a mariner model and the needle valve looked like a match head, the diaphragm was rock hard, and the float didn't float any more after 2 years of ethanol gasoline used in it!
