this motor came to me not running i verified spark and fuel, removed the carb and cleaned very well ( it was dirty ) now the motor will start for about five seconds and shut off, it will not start right back up, but if i let it set for two minutes it will start and run for another 5 seconds ??? any thoughts ???

Sounds like a restriction in the fuel line (filter, tank, etc.).
