Default Honda 75 lifting procedure/tools

I'm fairly certain of the answer here....but have to ask. I need to lift a 2001 75 hp outboard. Some discussion around methods and tools have been contradictory...so I will ask here. The proper procedure to lift the outboard, I am thinking is via the large 1.5" hole in the center of the flywheel...for which I'd need a lifting ring w/ 1.5" X 16tpi diameter/thread.

I had been told to remove the bolt inside this hole (with blue paint on it...not sure what that paint represents?? reverse thread? torque verification mark?) and to insert lifting ring there...however I believe that is the absolute incorrect method, as this I know is the flywheel to crank bolt correct?

Last question...where can I quickly obtain appropriate lifting eye.

Thank you in advance...

The lifting eye, part number 07SPZ-ZW0010Z threads into flywheel over top of flywheel nut, don't remove flywheel nut.
