Default honda 225 lower unit from hell

Any one out there know the dim. of the waterpump shaft at the waterpump seals. This is the one that keeps oil and water from mixing. I have put 8 sets in in the last 3 weeks and cant fix the problem. Shaft is brand new from honda as we converted a 30' to a 25' with a new shaft and all new seals. I'm thinking the shaft is over cut and the seals are too loose. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

No the manual doesn't list that measurement, if you still have old shaft compare the two to see if same.

Default honda 225 oil in water

Hey I fixed the lower unit leak but found that most of the oil is from the engine. I disasembled it to the oil pan and ran a waterhose to the water pickup in order to run it for a few minutes. Upon shutdown by the key I caught all the water draining from the engine . On the tail end of the drain cycle here came the engine oil down the pick up tube and it continued to drip for about 30 min. I had already flushed the engine so it wasn't left over from the lower unit. Anyone have any ideas where internally this oil might be comming from? Thanks Steve

Probably start with inspecting oil pump and housing.
