For a 2002 25 inch 225 it's $577.35.

Thanks for the info. My 225 is under warranty and I am having a problem with bubbling paint on the mid section cowl of lower unit. Honda representative suggested that the section be painted. I would like to replace the mid section cowl. I do not think they could possibly come close to the factory finish given all of the different layers and factory environment so am trying to convince them to just replace that section. Would assume it could be done in 2-3 hours. Maybe even have impeller changed while they are at it

My Honda 130, a 2000 model, has the same problem. Since it is out of warranty I'm forced to either repaint it or replace it. Both options seem more that a DIY guy can handle. Any suggestions?

Eric provided me with some good advice on the issue. Local dealer, after 5 months, called me today and said they were replacing the mid section cowl under warranty.
