Default HELP! bf-90 1992? LOWER UNIT SHIFT COFIG

No problem with my nonda bf-90 for the past 10 years!

Untill i took it in for tune-up. Nightmare #1 shear-pin broke, propeller would not turn when placed in gear. From him trying to start it so many times i guess..... So he fixed that part..... Put it in the water and..... Nightmare #2 put the shifter in forward it goes in reverse, put shifter in reverse it goes forward and so on....plus every time the impeller got chewed up and failed to pump within 5 miniutes took it back to him 3 times but not a forth any way.... He doesnt know what he did wrong.
I need a manual for the lower unit and or if someone can explain what i can do to fix this problem. I just cant afford to drop it off at a honda ob at this time...

Any feed back will be much appreceated

Not sure, not knowing exactly all that they did it would hard to say what the problem is. A 90hp shouldn't have a prop shear pin it should have rubber hub prop, if water pump impeller is turning backwards(tearing blades off) and shifting is backwards then actually sounds like engine is running backwards. Would be very difficult for that to be possible but need to find out exactly what they did.
