Hi,
I paid a good money for servicing my Honda outboard to then realize that the main issue still stays the same: I takes me more than 15 minutes to pull and pull and the outboard doesn't starts. After approx 15 minutes, suddenly starts with a very soft pull. I have tried with and without choke, it is always the same. Once it starts, I can stop it and re-start it with just one quick pull.

Any idea of what could be the reason of this hard start?

Start at the bulb and the gas tank. Pressure there? Nothing floating or sunk in the gas can? Regular non-ethanol gas being used? Look in the fuel filter on the side of the engine; any water on top or sediments? Take apart fuel pump; check diaphragm for flexibility. Check all of your hoses for leakage or cracks. If none of that works, or only helps a little if replacement parts are needed; take apart the Carb. Check the needle valve for deposits, clean all ports in the carb, replace float if Ethanol has been used.
