Default Fuel in crankcase

I have a 2006 Honda 2hp model BFBZ. I am getting fuel in my crank case. What is causing this and how can I stop it. Thanks

Possible carb flooding, may need to remove and clean carb.

Yep because no fuel pump on that model

i think there is no thermostat also, so rule that out

Default Solution

Two possible ways and most likely the last of these two: Through gravity, fuel is passing through an open fuel seat in the carb, passing into the cylinder then passing through bad rings. But I feel this is not the way... too improbable. I now believe the fuel is draining through the carb into the air filter then through the crankcase vent hose into the crank case. Much thought went into this problem and this seems to be the only way. Problem should be solved by insuring the fuel tank shut off is closed. Thanks for your comments.

I might want to add that for this to happen the main culprit most likely is a bad seat which would allow the fuel to pass through the carb to get into the air filter to begin with. I don't think the tilt of the engine would be up far enough for the float to be elevated enough for the seat to be open to allow fuel to be free flowing. Thanks again
