Default Engine Cover Gasket/Seal Replacement
When replacing the rubber gasket at bottom of engine cover for Honda BF225, is it necessary to use an adhesive? If so, what would adhesive would be recommended?

Haven't had to replace one but don't remember seeing any glue on them.
