I have just purchased a new remote control to replace my broken one but when i plug in the new one everything works other than the choke not engaging when I lift up the lever? That feature still works on my old remote. Any solutions? I know there's an internal switch in the remote control that must make contact when raising the choke lever but will I still be allowed to return the item to boats.net if I open the control unit to see if it's in fact hitting the switch?
