carb parts for bf90a or bf90at

My title says I have a bf90at 1996 90 hp , i think on the motor it has bf90a . with the numbers BBU1001314.
My question is what jets do I need for the carbs , I am running sluggish and rpm's never go above 4300 with a 17 pitch prop . The boat is new to me and has set up about a year before I got it . I changed the water fuel separator filter , new plugs , but it still runs poor , won't plane fast , slow speed of 27mph,,, would cleaning the carbs be the trick . new jets?

You are missing one letter on serial number, if it's "BBBU" prefix then it is a BF90AT model, 1997 BF90AT XRTA VIN# BBBU-1000001 TO BBBU-2999999 Honda Outboard Parts
Probably start with carb gaskets, may be able to clean jets.

I looked inside the motor after reading the serial # would be on the motor instead of the engine mount ,, it says BBBE1006961 .
After looking at the charts I wonder if it is a 1996 motor ? Now would the 1997 carb parts work on the 1996 engine ?

Yes that would be the correct parts to use, it's actually a 1995-97 parts catalog.

Thanks a bunch , I started the cleaning the carbs today . It looks like I will only need the gasket between the manifold and block . Do you have the part number for that handy , seems it is not on the carb page .
