Default BF50 prop shaft seal

My prop shaft seals are toast, monofilament got them.
How do you replace them? Does the prop shaft carrier have to come out? Is there a special tool to get the case nut off?

Yes remove bearing carrier and replace seals. The older 50's required special tools to remove carrier:
07LPC-ZV3020A Puller
07931-HB3020A nut
07931-ME4010B puller shaft
