Unhappy BF50-bogs down in gear;smooth without remote

I have cleaned my carbs, changed plugs, run a tank of fresh fuel through.Runs smooth to 5000rpm when I operate the throttle by hand at the engine. But when using the remote,on the water, the engine bogs down and quits at about 1800 rpm when put in gear. The remote throttle lever also travels further forward than it used to.I have searched the forum for answers but am stuck at troubleshooting this problem. Does anyone have any ideas?? THANKS!

Same issue here. Rebuilt carbs fresh fuel. Good idle, good to 2300 to 2500 rpm in gear on the water depending on needle valve setting. After that pushing it further causes it to die. Cranks right back up and again good to 2500. In neutral can get up to 5500 very smooth, beyond misses some.

Maybe fuel pump issue? Tried adjusting fuel mixture out on the water yielding the 2300 to 2500 rpm range. When richer, idle gets rough, rpm drops to the 2300 range under load. Adjusted all the way in to no idle, back out 1/4 turn each time, still the same problem, range between 2300 to 2500 before it cuts off. Manual value of 2 1/8 turns out on the mixture seems to yield the best idle and 2500 rpm until stumbling under load.

If advance until the rpm starts to drop under load and then bring throttle back a little, no cut off is experienced.

Thanks

Same problem here. I've rebuilt carbs and synched them. Won't get over 3k rpm in drive. Fast throttle advance causes stall. Thinking still fuel issue. (these arn't complicated engines) Planning to replace fuel lines and pump.
