I have a 30hp outboard that I have removed and disassembled the carbs. I am trying to clean the long jet that runs vertically thru the carb but I cannot seem to get it clean.

I have tried wire, cleaner, and a torch tip cleaner but nothing can open the passage. The passage is ****... or maybe there is not one.

Does anyone have any tips before I have to order a new set? Heat? Special chemicals? tricks?
