Anyone know if its possible to run outboard engines, particularly bf200, without the vertical shaft bushing? Would it still run smooth? I was thinking of doing so to prevent extension case corrosion from happening again. its the area around the bushing that corrodes due to heat and quick cooling when it comes to contact with the water.
