I'm looking at buying a BF15D second hand , but they can't tell me how old it is?
Is it at all possible to tell how many hours of use it has had?

It is a 2003. The BEAKJ number is the serial number for the engine. The BALJ number is the frame serial number for the entire assembly. This is the serial number that is generally used to get parts, etc.
