Default bf100 engine removal

I purchased a manual and am attempting to pull the engine from the housing in order to change powerhead gasket. I believe I followed the instructions pretty closely and I'm at the point to 'lift the motor out'...now I'm stuck. Why won't it lift out? Granted it's been 30 years and probably never came out since installation, so how can I gently remove? Thoughts and ideas will be helpful. Thanks, Tunitime

I have connections to a boom on a pickup. Once it's hung, is there a spray of any kind to loosen gasket? Or do I just pull and wiggle?

Just-In-Time,
Yippie. Hung the motor and tried basic 'pull', but nothing. Looked with a flashlight one more time, and Bingo, the hidden 'mickey' was found! I missed a bolt hidden behind the exhaust tube (?). Found it with a flashlight. I don't think I would have ever bent over that far if it wasn't hanging up, so thanks for the tip. Came right apart.
