BF 225 old bait/switch

A dealer was supposed to sell me a 2010 225 engine. I found out that it's actually a new crated 2006. The old bait/switch. Now if I can get him to lower the price, are there any differences between the 2006 and 2010 that I should be aware of

The 2010's came out with an improved gearcase and several other changes on the engine to help prevent problems. Unless the 2006 price is really good, I would get the 2010. Make sure it is the "k series".

All BF225 Honda O/B are K series. 2010 are K1's older are K0's.

Looks like I forgot the K1. Sorry... Some of the 225's were also A2's. Go with the K1.
