Default BF 225 Fuel Leak

After using my 225, I tip the motor up for trailering and I am losing some fuel out of the motor cowling. It appears to be draining from the front filter housing back thru some of the hoses, I can't really tell where the discharge point is yet - could be back near the high pressure fuel filter - as I've looked for it but need to remove cowling to chase it further. By the time I get the cowling off the leak has stopped. The filter housing itself is not leaking. I had this problem last year, but then it fixed itself. It recently started again. Anyone have any experience with a similar fuel leak and a cure?? Thanks!

Have you tried pumping primer bulb and holding pressure on it to force a leak, if it's a leak on high pressure side then turn key on to run fuel pump and look for leak.

Yes, I have tried both. No leaks in either case. Now in the last week it has stopped leaking fuel when I tip it up. There must be a one-way valve somewhere in there that is not sealing from time to time. Do you know of such a valve? It's got to be in the lower back of the motor somewhere, as it all looks good in the filter areas. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Is there such a thing as a "breather bypass valve"? Could this be the culprit and where is it located? Thanks

No I can't think of anything that would be at back of engine.

In your view, where do you think the fuel draining from the filter on the front of the engine is going? That is the area losing fuel. (I can also recall a time when it was losing fuel with the motor in the down position.) Thanks for any help you can offer.

Would need to check all connections, fuel filter and housing and check fuel vapor tank. Any of them could be leaking.
