Default adding electric start to BF20DK0 (4T) 2011

Hello, I need to add this engine electric start, there is some kit ? or I can do it by parts, I saw these parts, need another?


2007 and Later BF20DK0 LHTA VIN# BAMJ-1400001 Honda Outboard STARTER MOTOR Diagram and Parts
31200-ZY1-802 - PRI; STARTER MOTOR ASSY. (Honda Code 7454010).


2007 and Later BF20DK0 LHTA VIN# BAMJ-1400001 Honda Outboard HANDLEBAR Diagram and Parts
35150-ZY1-731 SWITCH ASSY., STARTER (Honda Code 7214588).

Honda does not offer an electric start kit.
You would also need a flywheel, number 3 in this diagram 2007 and Later BF20DK0 LHTA VIN# BAMJ-1400001 Honda Outboard FLYWHEEL Diagram and Parts
number 14,27 and 30 in 2007 and Later BF20DK0 LHTA VIN# BAMJ-1400001 Honda Outboard WIRE HARNESS + REGULATOR + STARTER CABLE (1) Diagram and Parts

Now that you mention it, parts listing does show a difference in number 4(charge coil) in diagram between electric start model and manual start model, 2007 and Later BFP20DK0 LRTA VIN# BAMJ-1400001 Honda Outboard FLYWHEEL Diagram and Parts

so, it'll be more than 1200 U$S including shipping and custom duties...in my country there isn't new outboards 20-25 HP electric started and I've lost an arm so I need it
sory but why I have to change flywheel if original have gear teeth?

The parts list shows a different flywheel but if it has the ring gear it will probably work fine.

ok, if I do it I'll shown photos here
I have yet to decide whether to buy the Honda BF20 or Evinrude e-tec 25, is a shame that no one bring electric starter 15" in my country, only 20" electric available
have to decide before Christmas
