Default 2004 Honda 50 wont accelerate

I can idle around all day, up to about 1500 RPM... above that, no matter how slowly or quickly I throttle up, it bogs and stalls... carbs were just cleaned, new floats, needles and seats just installed, new see thru fuel filter installed, new gas. All three carbs less than 1 yr old and have the no adjust idle screws in them.. Engine runs fine as long as not in gear, will rev up with fast idle lever and runs smooth. Any ideas?

Finally was able to get back out to the water to mess with it... Do not have the right fittings to hook up my vacuum guages to the intake, anyone know where to get them? I took the hose and stuck it in my ear, and held it in front of the lower carb and listened, then moved to the second carb, then the third, very noticeable difference between them all.. hmmm out of sync... started adjusting the top carb and got it sounding better (more like the third) then went to second, for some reason just could not get it to change... then thinking outloud to myself... that there linkage that ties the three carbs together is not adjustable.... pulled linkage off... held it up to mounting points with lower connector centered on bottom carb, way off.... adjusted upper two carbs so that linkage was centered on all three connectors, snapped it back on and listened again... all three just a like, time for a test run... boat jumped up on plane and purred like a kitten... I know it probably needs some more fine tuning, but with no adapters, i am not getting a good reading on guage... just wanted to pass this on as I did not think that it would make that big of a difference! Hope someone else reads this and it helps them out.

Default 2001 BF50 studders at acceleration

I have the same problem! Carbs are all synced, clean fuel and new tune up.
I was told that the water temp sensor can cause this problem? I checked the sensor according to the service book and found that the temp sensor is not working! I have had a hard time finding a sensor that I was told would cost around $80-100?!
Any help out there?
Beau.

Well if your motor is the same as mine bf50A LRTA amongst some others it appears it is only $15

35673-ZW5-003 HONDA SENSOR, WATER TEMP (Honda Code 5892336) $14.10
