2002 BF15A Remote Control
I am in the process of converting my electric start 15hp short shaft over to remote controls. I ordered the steering remote control kit today (06170-zv4-912) but am kinda stuck on which side mount control unit to purchase. Boats.net has two for this year engine with electric start - part # 06240-zv6-u00 at $356 and part # 24800-zv4-l70 at $580. Guess which one i'm leaning toward. I cannot see the difference between the two. I tried the live chat this morning but their web site went down on me twice, so I'm trying here. Any help with this would be appreciated. Does either kit come with the mechanical device needed to shift the transmission?
